BELLATOR ANNOUNCES FIRST 3 EVENTS OF 2015

During a pre-fight press conference for Bellator 131 on Saturday, it was made public that Bellator 132 has been scheduled for Jan. 16 at the Pechanga Resort and Casino in Temecula, Calif., and will be headlined by Patricio Pitbull defending his 145-title against Daniel Straus.

Bellator 133 will take place over a month later on Feb. 27 from the Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, Conn., and will feature a welterweight title fight pitting Douglas Lima against Paul Daley. In addition, Emanuel Newton will defend his light heavyweight belt against Liam McGeary, while the heavyweights will be represented by Bobby Lashley and James Thompson. Finally, Rameau Thierry Sokoudjou will look to remain undefeated under the Bellator banner against England’s Linton Vassell.

March 27 will be the first time Joe Warren defends his bantamweight title, when he faces marcos ga in the main event of Bellator 134. The card will emanate from the Winstar World Casino and Resort in Thackerville, Okla.

It remains to be seen if Bellator plans on disclosing its events in a similar quarterly schedule going forward. It was also announced that more information on the three fight cards will be made available in the coming weeks.
